Constraint Inventory Challange

This two day course enables the learner to gain knowledge, understanding and experience additional practical application of construction, the value of teamwork by reusing materials to complete a challenge. Once completed, the learner will have gained practical and personal development skills to assist them in their knowledge and understanding of the construction sector.  It is ideal for your colleagues who have little or no site experience, would like to know more about the challenges we face regarding NetZero or who could benefit from some personal development training.

Date: Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th March 2024
Timings: Arrive 0830 for a 0900 start. Course finishes no later than 1700hrs on day 2.
Location: Bircham Newton, Norfolk, PE31 6RH
Accommodation: Accommodation is included overnight on Wednesday 6th March. Any additional accommodation can be provided at cost.

Aim of the course:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of health and safety on site including site specific risks; moving vehicles; excavations; working at height or depth; risk assessment, control measures and correct use of PPE.
  • Understand site good practice including pre site preparation; equipment, communication, site checks; considerations for weather conditions; the working environment and terminology used.
  • Understand the basics of NetZero and Constraint Inventory.
  • Demonstrate through practical application the process of design and build.
  • Define and demonstrate different examples of teamwork, communication, time management, planning and organisation skills; along with interpersonal skills.
