In addition it will develop your team working, leadership, communication, time management, interpersonal and project management skills. These employability skills are essential when you entering the world of work.

Here are some useful documents to help you get started on your Constructionarium journey.

You and your colleagues safety is our biggest priority whilst you are on site and you must observe all safety briefings, warnings and instructions at all times. This includes wearing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly whilst you are on site. Please ensure your safety shoes/boots conform to BS EN 344-1. With the exception of safety shoes or boots, PPE is normally provided by the partnering Contractor or Constructionarium.

We have put together a recommended list for packing as the weather can be extreme – we suggest sunscreen as well as waterproofs! The Constructionarium site based near the North Norfolk coast and can experience various different weather conditions in one day. So be prepared to be working outside (in all types of weather), getting your hands dirty and managing several tasks at once.   Our recommendation it to bring plenty of layering clothes (long sleeves and long trousers) to wear which you don’t mind getting dirty and of course, waterproof clothing. T-shirts and shorts are not permitted.

Sun cream, lip balm and a water bottle are essential irrespective of the time of year you attend. You should also tie back long hair.
